When Worlg War Two broke out, Tun Razak immediately joined an anti-Japanese movement in which he was an active member. After the war, he went to London where he took up law. During his time there, he served as the Secterary of the Malay Students' Society. In 1950, he graduated and returned to Malaya. He joined UMNO and eventually became the vice president in 1951. In 1955, he was appointed the Minister of Education. He became the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia in 1957. In 1970, Tun Abdul Razak became the second Prime Minister of Malaysia.
As Prime Minister, Tun Abdul Razak guided the nation towards further development and progress. However, Tun Abdul Razak developed an illness and passed away in 1976. His death was a great loss to the nation. Al - Fatihah.
